Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi
Reach Nairobi and stay low-key
You arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi and are assisted through custom and immigration procedures. You will then meet the staff who’ll take you to your pre-booked hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2: Nyeri, Tree Hotel, and a lot of excitement
From Nairobi to Nyeri and beyond
After the breakfast, you leave Nairobi to reach Nyeri, which is a small yet rapidly growing town right in the heart of the gorgeous White Highlands of Kenya. You’ll have lunch at the base hotel and then leave for a tree hotel where you’ll spend the evening watching the wildlife. You can also choose to spend the night watching the Elephant show. You’ll have your dinner followed by an overnight stay at the tree hotel in Nyeri.
Day 3: Nanyuki: Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club to experience the wild
After your breakfast, you’ll be taken to the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, which is located in the foothills of Mount Kenya (17,058 feet). You also get a chance to stop at the Equator. With magnificent views of Mount Kenya, the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort’s 120 luxuriously appointed hotel rooms, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offer a unique blend of comfort, relaxation, and adventure.
Originally the retreat of movie star and Club founder, William Holden, the Club’s illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. There are many exciting things to do for you. You can go on horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage and much more.
After lunch, you can enjoy recreational activities at the hotel. You’ll have dinner and stay overnight at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort in Nanyuki.
Day 4: Spend a day among the wild animals
Spend the day exploring the natural wonders
After breakfast, your sightseeing tour begins. You’ll stop for a while at the 73m Thompson’s Falls, named after Joseph Thompson the Scots explorer, who was the first European to see the Falls in 1884. A halt in Nakuru for a delicious lunch. Later you’ll be taken to the national park where you can enjoy bird watching. The park is home to the beautiful Greater Flamingos, which make the entire park look fabulous. You also get to see rare animals like Rothschild Giraffe and White Rhino. Stay and dinner in a lodge in Nakuru/Naivasha.
Day 5: On the wild land of Serengeti plains
For the greatest wilderness of the world
After breakfast, you’ll be driven through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, which is known for its spectacular wildebeest migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.
After lunch in your lodge/camp, you can relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve, which is among the greatest wildernesses of the world is home to Maasai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, Impala, Zebra, Topi, Thomson’s, and Gazelles. Your Kenya tour package also includes dinner and an overnight stay in a lodge/camp in Mara.
Day 6: Get ready for the wild game
Let the sea waves spoil you
After breakfast, proceed on a morning game-viewing drive to search the myriad species of game. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your eyes. After a sumptuous lunch at your lodge, proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous ‘Big 5’. You’ll have dinner and stay overnight in a lodge/camp in Mara.
Day 7 : Back to Nairobi
Back to Nairobi and then home
After breakfast, you’ll be taken back to Nairobi. You’ll reach the city in time for lunch, which is on your own. Then you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
